Presenter - Mr. Andrew Fahey

Drew Fahey is a world renowned evangelist in live forensics and incident response. He specializes in digital forensics media analysis, computer crime investigations, systems exploitation, vulnerability assessments, and technology protection.
He has developed several new procedures for digital evidence media analysis, specifically he developed the Helix bootable live forensics CD, which is in use worldwide. Many organizations such as SANS, NW3C, SEARCH and others, use Helix for their forensics training. In addition to the development of forensic and incident response software, Mr. Fahey is qualified as an expert in computer forensics and computer security in both US federal and state courts.
Mr. Fahey was a member of the US Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI), Computer Crime Investigations unit. Mr. Fahey holds a bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Texas State University, San Marcos. He also holds many industry certifications in computer forensics and computer security.
Workshop: Live Forensics and Incident Response
Students will walk away with a complete understanding of why they should conduct live forensics, how they can present that information in court, and how easy it is using various tools/technologies.
Concepts of live forensics and triage on various operating systems will be discussed so students will become keenly aware of the pros and cons of dealing with live systems.
He will also be presenting a new Free Open Source Software tool called Phoenix which he will be officially releasing in Hong Kong at the Conference.
